The Quality in Careers Standard is designed as a development and external assessment framework for accrediting the highest quality CEIAG provision by education providers.
SCIENCE MARK: GOLD
This is a quality standard designed to recognise and celebrate inspiring practice in science departments across the UK. Schools receive the Science Mark when they can show that they are delivering inspiring lessons for students and demonstrate their department’s commitment to high-quality science education.
Awarded by Arts Council England, Artsmark provides a clear framework for schools to plan, develop and evaluate their arts and cultural provision. Artsmark Platinum is the highest accolade, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the arts and creativity.
WELLBEING AWARD FOR SCHOOLS
Developed in partnership with the National Children's Bureau (NCB), this whole-school award focuses on ensuring effective practice and provision is in place that promotes the emotional wellbeing and mental health of both staff and pupils. It demonstrates our commitment to promoting mental health as part of school life.
SOCIAL SCHOOL AWARD
This is uniquely certified CPD to reward schools in recognition for the way social media is used to connect, promote and engage with parents and others.

This is a national quality mark designed to improve CPD standards within the teaching profession.

SIXTH FORM COLLEGE ASSOCIATION AWARDS
Durham Sixth Form Centre won the Sixth Form College Association's 2019 Business Development Award for our innovative Teaching and Learning Partnership Model. We also were runners up in the Governance Award.
Music Mark lobbies for, and champions, a government supported, high quality, music education provision for all young people which addresses diversity, equity and inclusion at its core.
