In a stunning achievement we are delighted to announce that Year 12 student, Grace Rogers has been selected to showcase her artwork in the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts Young Artistsβ Summer show 2024.
Now in its sixth year, the Young Artistsβ Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for students aged 4β19 studying in the UK. Artworks are judged by a panel of artists and arts professionals, with selected artworks displayed online and on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts. The Academy received over 21,500 submissions and were blown away by all the entries this year.
Graceβs captivating painting, titled βCommutersβ, is an exploration into appreciating the beauty within everyday life. With its gritty expression and emotive storytelling, the painting earned Grace a spot amongst the UKβs most promising emerging artists.
Speaking about her selection, Grace expressed her gratitude stating β Itβs great to see hard work pay off to achieve this accoladeβ.
