Another year of outstanding results…
Students and staff at Durham Sixth Form Centre are celebrating success today following the publication of Level 3 results, marking yet another year of outstanding academic and personal achievements.
In our A Level and other academic qualifications we achieved a 100% pass rate and an average Grade B, with two thirds of the grades awarded being impressive A*-B grades.

We are delighted to announce the Department for Education has awarded Durham Sixth Form Centre funding to provide additional capacity for post-16 learners in County Durham.
The funding has been awarded to support the sector at a time of demographic increase and is designed to ensure the additional space meets local and national skills requirements.

What a year it has been, and for so many different reasons. I am delighted to report that despite the interruption, interference and intrusion of Covid in all of our lives that we, as a school community, have still managed to grow, develop, learn and thrive throughout the autumn term.
