AAQ Level 3 / 2 year Course

This course is designed to help you develop essential digital skills and knowledge, preparing you for further education and careers in the rapidly evolving tech industry. Students will develop a wide range of practical IT skills in areas such as data modelling and database design, as well as emerging technology skills, data analysis and cybersecurity. Students will also study a range of optional units covering other aspects of IT such as the project management and system administration.

Assessment

The ICT course uses a diverse range of assessment methods to evaluate your understanding, skills, and progress. This approach ensures a comprehensive evaluation of both your theoretical knowledge and practical abilities.

The course assessment is divided into two main components: exam and coursework.

Written exams will cover theoretical aspects across all topic content and coursework will be assessed throughout the duration of the course and linked to practical application of different IT skills.
